What the Limited Lifetime Warranty covers
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship in your MiaMily luggage for the product's usable life, starting from the original date of purchase. Specifically it applies to:
- Zippers: broken or malfunctioning zippers.
- Handles: broken or defective handles.
- Wheels: broken or defective wheels.
- Stitching: defective stitching resulting in loose threads or open seams.
- Fabrics and materials: defects in the materials, such as tears or fraying during normal use.
What is not covered
- Normal wear and tear: scuffs, scratches or damage from regular use over time.
- Misuse or abuse: improper handling, accidents, excessive force, extreme conditions or improper care.
- Cosmetic damage: scratches, dents or colour changes that do not affect function.
- Unauthorised repairs or alterations.
- Damage caused by airline handling.
Warranty process
Proof of purchase. You must provide proof of purchase from an authorised MiaMily Luggage Australia retailer.
Submit a claim. Lodge your claim through the Coolkidz support portal at help.coolkidz.com.au, including details of the defect and photographs where possible.
Evaluation. Our team evaluates whether the defect is covered. If it is, we will at our discretion repair the product at no cost, replace it with the same or a comparable model, or offer a refund or store credit if repair or replacement is not possible.
Shipping. Customers cover shipping to return the product for evaluation. If the defect is covered, we cover return shipping of the repaired or replaced product.
Limitations
The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. It sits alongside, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
